Commandant’s Comments:
To all Marine Members, Associate Members and Friends of the League:
Not much to report other than the club is running smoothly. The
committee meets every Wednesday evening. Things are going well for
our Marine Corps League. Don’t get me wrong, we can still use a
helping hand and your donations are always welcome. We know we
can’t rest one day.
We are looking forward to St. Patrick’s Day. Hopefully we can have as
good of one as we did last year. Kathi Gilroy has already volunteered
to do the cooking (corned beef and cabbage!!!) Coach will provide
some great music as well as the Caledonia Kilty Band AND, as a
special treat, our Irish dancers will be here!
As you know, our calendars are posted on the web site (www.
mclstjoevalley.org) We also have extra copies of the calendar in the
club.
The Marine Mud Run will be going again this year. This is a big
challenge for many. Our 1st Sgt., Sam Alameda, has already spent many
hours on this huge project! I will keep you posted.
